Two Switches
Today had two themes: switching and submitting. I switched my electricity from an expensive variable plan to a fixed twelve-month Saver plan at about 9.3 cents a kilowatt-hour — the old plan was costing me roughly $85 more a month, and nobody at the power company will ever tell you that unprompted. And I registered therestlessfounder.com, then spent an hour convincing the domain people that yes, I really did want the email to forward where I told them to.
The submitting was Demity business. Two warranty enrollments for our newest homes went into the system — paperwork signed by the buyers, fees paid, the whole builder-backed pipeline working the way it's supposed to. I also paid my assistant's spa balance and stared down the calendar where the Ardena legal deadline was blinking at me.
The day's quiet lesson was in the inbox: the email forwarding I'd set up wasn't actually delivering. I'd skipped the verification step — twice. There's a metaphor in there about building things that look connected but aren't. I'll save it for another dispatch.
